FAQ's

What happens during a hormone consultation?

During your consultation, we’ll talk through your health history, current symptoms,

wellness goals, and more. You’ll also receive in-house blood work (for an additional

cost) to check your hormone levels. Once the blood work results are received we will

schedule a secondary consultation via in-person or telehealth to create a personalized

plan that fits your needs.

Do I need lab work before starting treatment?

Yes – will draw your blood in-house the same day as your consultation for an additional

cost. We have multiple panels to choose from that will be discussed during your

consultation and assessment. Blood work is an important step because it gives us a

clear picture of what’s going on with your hormones. Even if your labs look “normal,” we

still take your symptoms seriously and treat based on how you’re feeling—not just

numbers on a chart. We cannot treat your health and hormones without bloodwork.

Is blood work included in the consultation cost?

No, lab work is billed separately. This allows us to tailor testing to your specific needs.

Bloodwork can range anywhere from a full panel ($350) to a half panel ($150).

Do you offer in-house labs?

Yes! We provide in-house lab draws for your convenience, so you don’t have to

schedule an extra visit elsewhere. Bloodwork is an additional charge depending on what

lab panel you choose to go with. The panels will be discussed based on your needs

during the consultation.

How soon will I get my results?

Lab results typically return within 7-10 days. Once results are in, we’ll schedule a

follow-up to go over everything and adjust your plan.

What if my hormone levels come back normal?

Many patients still experience hormone imbalance symptoms even with “normal” labs.

In that case, we’ll discuss your options, lifestyle changes, and treatments to help you

feel your best.

How long does the consultation take?

Plan for about 45 minutes for the consultation and bloodwork. We’ll take the time to

really listen and make sure all your questions are answered.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept HSA/FSA, cash, and major credit cards.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not bill insurance directly, but we accept HSA/FSA cards, cash, and major

credit/debit cards.

How often will I need follow-up visits?

Most patients check in every 3–6 months to repeat the consultation process and to

make sure treatment is working and labs are in a healthy range.

Do men and women both need hormone consultations?

Yes! Hormone imbalances can affect both men and women. We help with issues like

low energy, mood changes, weight struggles, hot flashes, low libido, and more.
